You've booked a session... Now what!?
First of all, this is NOT mandatory. I don’t want you to overthink the wardrobe. What I really wanna have is comfortable people being themselves!
Need more visuals? I've created a Pinterest board just for my SMP clients.
I highly recommend you picking Ladies outfits first. Mom's always are the hardest on themselves, so start there :) Remember, I'm around to make you feel and look your best during pictures, so relax and just have some fun <3
I’m a sucker for long flowy dresses and skirts because it shows movement and can be tossed around and played with during your session.
Guys (and little guys) always look great in button up shirts. You can have sleeves down, rolled up, or just cuffed a little. They are easy to find and mix styles up. Henleys are also another really great look, its classic and is always in style. Even a really great solid colored shirt can pull an outfit together. Jeans always look great (kids look great in khaki shorts too), khakis work well too on dad (you can even pair it with a denim/chambray shirt.. those colors match just about everything.).
Definetly add layers to outfits, textures and even prints add depth to your session.
When it comes to accessories the more the better. Think about incorporating hats, bonnets, beanies, cardigans, blankets, suspenders, leggings, tights, knee high socks, bold jewelry. Accessories are great for adding warmth but also great for texture and dimension in your photos. Accessories take a simple photo and elevate it to the next level. (but also do what is most comfortable for you!)
I'm more than happy to help with outfits, people ask me all the time!
