FAMILY SESSION GUIDE

As a parent to young adults and a teen, I know how quickly the years fly by. I’d give anything to have more photos of my kids through every stage—baby teeth, the gapped teeth, the braces. The chubby cheeks, the pig-tails, the awkward years - all of it.

That’s why I’m passionate about giving families the kind of memories you’ll treasure for a lifetime—images that capture connection, personality, and the magic of right now. Our time together will be relaxed, joy-filled, and full of laughter… the kind of evening you’ll look back on for years to come.

Child Studio- $150

Our in-studio children’s sessions are perfect for creating timeless, styled portraits in a comfortable space. Sarah will help you choose outfits and give you access to our collection of accessories, and unique extras to personalize the session. These sessions are for 1-2 children and include two to three outfit changes. We’ll capture everything from genuine laughter to quiet, thoughtful moments, so you can remember every side of your child at this age.

Child Outdoor- $175

Our outdoor children’s sessions are all about letting personality shine. We’ll choose a beautiful location and Sarah will help you select outfits—plus you’ll have access to accessories, and all kinds of extras to make your child’s session truly special. These sessions are for one child and include two to three outfit changes. We’ll capture their genuine smiles, their serious expressions, and the sweet in-between moments—along with a little silliness for good measure.

Family- $225

About one hour of shooting time for your immediate family, typically held in the Medina area at one of Sarah’s favorite locations that best suits your family’s style. We’ll capture classic family poses and all the candid moments in between. I’m more than happy to help you choose outfits and prepare so your session is exactly what you’ve dreamed of. We’ll make time for sibling shots, parent portraits, and everything that tells your family’s unique story. I’ll guide you through the whole session so it feels natural, relaxed, and fun.

add on a cake smash $70

This is a once-in-a-lifetime shoot—you only turn one once! And what better way to celebrate than with cake? We supply everything—you can tell us your theme, or I’m happy to help you create one. You can add this cake smash session onto any of our regular studio or outdoor sessions. It includes the cake, accessories, décor, and extra images so your celebration is as sweet as it is memorable.

All sessions are booked individually. Your session fee covers the shoot and styling assistance. Afterward, you’ll receive a private online gallery to view and purchase your favorite images and products:

How do I book a session?

Where will the session take place?

  • Newborn sessions: In my Medina home studio.

  • Outdoor sessions: At one of my favorite Medina-area locations (or occasionally beyond).

  • We’ll discuss the best location and outfits for your family.

What should I/we wear?

  • Wardrobe is important! I help clients feel comfortable and confident.

  • Newborn and maternity sessions include access to wardrobe pieces and dresses for little ones.

  • Guidance is provided for outfit choices if needed.

What time do sessions take place?

  • Studio sessions: Anytime; lighting is always ideal.

  • Newborn sessions: Start around 10 AM when babies are typically most cooperative.

  • Outdoor sessions: Usually 1–2 hours before sunset for the best natural light.

When will I see the photos?

  • Newborn sessions: 7–10 days.

  • Other sessions: 3–4 weeks (often sooner!).

  • Delivered via a private online gallery for viewing and ordering.

How many family members can I bring?

  • Regular sessions are for immediate family only, keeping the experience relaxed and connected.

  • Extended family sessions are available for larger groups to capture everyone together.

Can I buy digital files to print myself?

  • Yes! Digital files are available for purchase.

  • A list of recommended printers is provided to ensure the best quality.

How can I pay?

  • Venmo, major credit cards, checks, or cash are all accepted.
